Our Dedicated Team
We are a small but mighty team working hard to help our community gain access to essential hygiene items needed to thrive.

Rachel Moon, Chief Executive Officer
Rachel comes to COVERD after working over a decade in the nonprofit sector – mainly in museums and arts organizations. After three years working with the organization as the Director of Community Engagement, Rachel took over as Interim CEO in 2025 and was quickly promoted to acting CEO.
She graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Master’s in Public History and went on to teach museum studies courses at Wilmington College, focusing her classes on museums as agents of social change. She has worked with notable institutions like the Cincinnati Art Museum, National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, and the Behringer-Crawford Museum.
In 2018 she curated an exhibit about food & economic injustice at the Dayton International Peace Museum in Dayton, OH, and was awarded “Conflict Resolution Educator of the Year.” This award, given by Ohio State University through their Conference on Conflict Resolution Education, brings together hundreds of educators and scholars – including diplomats from the United Nations, Peace Corps, and Universities from around the world.
On the side, Rachel travels the world as a guest speaker on Viking Cruises and gives lectures on a range of topics, like art history, cultural sites, and more!

A Cincinnati native, Nick completed his BA at Loyola University Chicago, and served in Seattle with Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest, where he met his talented wife Sarah. Since then, he has gained experience managing nonprofit programs serving folks on the margins in the fields of mental health, developmental disabilities, and food access.
He is ecstatic to be the father of two, which has made the need for diapers and other supplies in our community feel all the more urgent and personal. Nick enjoys spending time woodworking, gardening, being outdoors, traveling, and spending time at home with family and friends.
